The Gemini 335Lg is the latest GMSL stereo camera launched by ORBBEC. Equipped with ADI’s serialization chip, it can output variable data streams in different formats at high speed up to 6Gbps. To preview these data streams and apply them in business development, the camera should be connected to a host that supports receiving MIPI streams, such as the NVIDIA Jetson ecosystem. The Gemini 335Lg has been officially adapted by ORBBEC to work with NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin and AGX Xavier development kits, as well as other full systems based on NVIDIA Jerson SOM.
To support NVIDIA Jetson SOM, ORBBEC provides precompiled GMSL drivers for different platforms and has pre-tested performance through multiple camera links. Three types of solutions are supported: development kits, full systems, and standalone components.

1. Developer Kit Solution
1.1 AGX Orin Developer Kit
The AGX Orin developer kit is the latest flagship product in the NVIDIA Jetson series, with a computing power of 275Tps, 32GB or 64GB of RAM, and a 120-pin 16-lane MIPI connector, allowing up to 16 MIPI/GMSL cameras to be connected. To connect the Gemini 335Lg, a compatible deserializer board is required. ORBBEC has verified the following deserializer boards. Detailed information is shown below:

1.2 AGX Xavier Developer Kit
The AGX Xavier, released in September 2018, is an AI computing platform with 32Tops of computing power and 32GB of RAM. It also supports up to 16-lane MIPI camera connections. The deserializer boards and Developer Kit details verified by ORBBEC are as follows:

2. Full System Solution
2.1 ADVANTECH Full System
The Gemini 335Lg is also compatible with the MIC-733-AO full system, an advanced intelligent device from Advantech. Unlike the Developer Kit, the full system comes with a built-in deserializer board, which allows direct GMSL camera connection. The compatibility details are as follows:

3. Component Solution
3.1 CTI component solution
NVIDIA’s Jetson can also exist as an SOM (System on Module), but it requires a compatible carrier board. A Developer Kit is essentially a combination of an SOM and a carrier board. ORBBEC has provided targeted adaptation solutions for such cases, with the following details:
Components | – 1x AGX202 + AGX Orin SOM + JCB002 – 1x Gemini 335Lg |
Supported Deserializer Board Models | – JCB002 |

Notes:
- The Advantech MIC-733-AO currently does not support multi-device sync, which will be enabled in future software updates.
- The hardware numbers for AGX Orin and AGX Xavier may change slightly due to improvements by NVIDIA, but the first five digits will remain unchanged. Be sure to purchase official kits. Third-party kits require self-compiled drivers.
- There is no essential difference between different memory versions of the same kit, and drivers and system software are interchangeable.
