Gemini 335Lg host platform adapted list

The Gemini 335Lg is the latest GMSL2 stereo camera launched by Orbbec. To preview variable data streams and apply them in business development, the camera should be connected to a host that supports GMSL2 to MIPI CSI-2 deserialization functionality, such as the NVIDIA Jetson ecosystem equipped with a GMSL camera board. The Gemini 335Lg has been officially adapted by Orbbec and ecosystem partners, ensuring its compatibility with a wide range of host solutions, such as developer kit, turnkey system, and modular stacks.

For the convenience of users in quick testing and development, Orbbec provides precompiled GMSL drivers for the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin developer kit solution in the official Github repository. For compatibility with other solutions such as turnkey system and modular stacks, you can contact our partners for support.

Three types of solutions are supported: developer kit, turnkey system, and modular stacks.

1. Developer Kit Solution

1.1 NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin Developer Kit

The NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin developer kit comes with a computing power of 275TOPS, 64GB of RAM, and a 120-pin 16-lane MIPI connector. To connect the Gemini 335Lg to this developer kit, a compatible GMSL camera board is required. Please refer to the below information:

2. Turnkey Systems Solution

2.1 ADVANTECH Turnkey System

The Gemini 335Lg is also compatible with the ADVANTECH MIC-733-AO turnkey system, a fanless ultra-compact edge AI system for AMR & robotics. Unlike the developer kit, the turnkey system comes with a built-in GMSL camera board, which allows direct GMSL camera connection. In the MIC-733 series, there is a dedicated SKU that supports Gemini 335Lg out of the box, while other models in the MIC-733 series require manual driver installation.
