Share

Chicago, IL, June 22, 2026 – Orbbec, a leading provider of robotics and 3D vision, is showcasing its latest 3D vision products and solutions to accelerate industrial automation at Automate 2026 (Booth 14045, North Building). To meet the industry’s surging demand for perception-driven intelligent automation and robotics, Orbbec presents an advanced portfolio of industrial-grade 3D vision cameras tailored for challenging scenarios, alongside integrated AI solutions designed to enhance robotic perception capabilities.

AI-Enhanced 3D Vision to Address Industrial Perception Blind Spots

As industrial vision increasingly converges with edge AI, Orbbec is showcasing an industry-leading, hardware-software integrated solution that combines high-precision 3D vision hardware with an advanced AI model. This powerful combination further improves robots’ spatial perception and environmental understanding, helping overcome sensing challenges in complex industrial scenarios.

LingBot-Depth for Gemini 330 Series — Edge AI Spatial Intelligence

To solve common automation bottlenecks where traditional 3D vision hardware often struggles with transparent objects, low-texture or repetitive-pattern surfaces (such as white walls and fences), and highly reflective materials, Orbbec partners with Robbyant (Ant Group) to introduce the LingBot-Depth for Gemini 330 Series (referred to below as “LingBot Enhanced Depth Filter”), delivering key performance breakthroughs:

  • Empowering Large Models & Robotic Applications: Trained with the chip-level, high-precision data from Orbbec’s Gemini 330 series as the standard input, LingBot Enhanced Depth Filter integrates seamlessly with Robbyant’s in-house Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models. Robbyant has demonstrated that incorporating high-quality depth data directly into the large models significantly enhances a robot’s manipulation capabilities and operational success rates.
  • Flexible Dual-Mode Inference & NVIDIA Jetson Optimization: LingBot Enhanced Depth Filter is compatible with passive stereo inputs and achieves optimal performance when leveraging the active stereo input of the Gemini 330 series cameras. Fully compatible with NVIDIA Jetson Orin platforms, it can be extended via Orbbec’s SDK and leverages NVIDIA CUDA and TensorRT for accelerated AI inference, enabling real-time edge inference for depth hole filling, noise removal, and edge refinement.
  • Enhanced Reliability for Target Applications: By delivering a dependable sense of space, LingBot Enhanced Depth Filter supports reliable edge-based perception for demanding industrial tasks, including carton edge tracking in logistics, reflective metal alignment in assembly, and transparent vessel handling in lab automation.
