Orbbec Featured at ROBOTWORLD 2026
Advancing Robotic Perception and Real-World Data Collection
Robots operating in logistics, service and industrial environments require reliable 3D perception for navigation, obstacle avoidance and manipulation. Orbbec’s Gemini 330 series integrates proprietary on-chip depth processing with active and passive stereo vision, enabling reliable indoor and outdoor 3D perception for navigation and obstacle avoidance in mobile and service robots. The compact Gemini 305 delivers close-range depth and color imaging for object recognition and precise grasping, with a design optimized for wrist-mounted applications on robotic arms and humanoids.
For Physical AI, Orbbec’s independently developed Robot-Free Data Collection Hardware Platform enables scalable collection of high-quality, synchronized, multimodal real-world interaction data without dedicated robots. It integrates standardized sensing devices, calibration and synchronization capabilities, and Ego Viewer software for visualization and data management, backed by Contract Manufacturing (CM) and Joint Design Manufacturing (JDM) services.
Featured devices include EGO, designed for first-person human demonstration capture, and WristCam, providing complementary wrist-level views of hand-object interactions. Together, they support data collection for imitation learning, dexterous manipulation and embodied AI model training.
Dual Manufacturing Bases Strengthen Global Supply Reliability
Orbbec’s manufacturing footprint in Asia supports scalable production and long-term supply. Its self-operated intelligent manufacturing base in China, provides precision assembly, calibration, quality control and mass production for robotics applications.
Orbbec is also developing its RVMC manufacturing base in Vietnam, covering over 100,000 square meters and scheduled to begin operations in 2027. It will produce 3D vision sensors and smart hardware for overseas markets.
Together, these dual Asian manufacturing bases are designed to strengthen supply chain resilience, production flexibility and global delivery capabilities.
Proven Market Presence and Local Support
According to Frost & Sullivan, Orbbec ranked first worldwide by revenue in the robotic 3D vision perception market in 2025, with a 29% market share. Interact Analysis reported Orbbec’s 72% share of South Korea’s commercial and industrial mobile robot 3D vision market in 2024.
Orbbec has served over 1,600 robotics companies worldwide, including Chinese humanoid robotics companies and projects such as UBTECH, AgiBot and X-Humanoid. In South Korea, Twinny equips its NarGo logistics robots with two Gemini 335 cameras for navigation and obstacle avoidance, while RoboCare uses Gemini 335L in its SILBOT cognitive-training system to track users’ movements.
As an NVIDIA Partner Network (NPN) partner, Orbbec has integrated more than ten camera products with the NVIDIA Jetson platform. Its Gemini 330 series has also achieved full compatibility with NVIDIA Jetson Thor, enabling robotics developers to combine advanced 3D perception with edge AI computing.
Combining proven commercial deployment experience with local sales and technical support, Orbbec helps Korean manufacturers integrate 3D vision solutions and bring robotic products to market.
