The Gemini 335 provides reliable visual support for the NarGo order picking robot, enabling it to work closely with staff in logistics centers and tackle various challenges in complex factory environments.
-
Advanced Depth Engine Chip and Fusion Imaging System: Equipped with Orbbec’s self-developed MX6800 depth engine ASIC and a high-performance active-passive fusion imaging system, the Gemini 335 offers exceptional environmental adaptability and enhanced mobile perception. It delivers continuous, high-quality depth data with a wide field of view, allowing the robot to swiftly and accurately navigate elevators, stairs, and shelves, while making rapid, precise decisions in real-time.
-
Enhanced Light Adaptability: The Gemini 335 excels in various lighting conditions, ensuring safe operations even under fluctuating light, reflections, low-light environments, or at night. This capability enables logistics centers to operate efficiently around the clock, significantly boosting overall logistics speed.
-
Precise Spatial Localization and Object Recognition: The Gemini 335 enhances the robot’s spatial awareness and object recognition, improving efficiency and reducing errors during interactions with staff. Staffs can also access order information through the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and control multiple robots simultaneously. The Gemini 335 supports real-time synchronization, ensuring seamless coordination across the system.
The Visual System of the Twinny NarGo Order Picking Robot
Twinny, founded in 2015 by South Korean twin brothers H.S. Cheon and Y.S. Cheon, takes its name from the founders. Since its inception, the company has focused on developing and enhancing automation solutions for logistics centers. Today, Twinny offers a range of autonomous mobile robots and management platforms, successfully helping numerous South Korean companies achieve achieve logistics automation.
Twinny’s Automated Logistics
“In the global logistics industry, the adoption of automation technology is becoming a key factor in boosting competitiveness,” said H.S. Cheon, founder of Twinny. “Since the launch of our first-generation NarGo order picking robot, we’ve continuously innovated and worked with our partners to explore new product iterations, ensuring that Twinny’s robots stay aligned with the rapidly evolving logistics industry. In previous collaborations, Orbbec’s Astra series cameras enabled our robots to participate more flexibly in logistics operations. With the introduction of the Gemini 330 series, a next-generation stereo vision 3D camera, we decided to integrate it into our new products, further enhancing the autonomous mobile robots’ adaptability to ensure they can tackle more complex and dynamic logistics environments.”
