New VDI Lab to Support Industry and Developer Ecosystems
According to the partnership roadmap, Orbbec and Creality will also jointly establish the “3D Vision & Digital Intelligence Lab (VDI Lab)” to explore the convergence of 3D vision technologies and digital intelligence systems. The lab will focus on research across 3D data acquisition, understanding, and application, leveraging AI technologies to enhance the intelligence of 3D data workflows.
In the future, the VDI Lab will gradually open its ecosystem to industry partners, developers, and academic institutions, supporting innovation and collaborative development in digital manufacturing, robotics, education, research, and digital content creation.
