3D Vision Camera with Integrated Depth and AI Processing

Share

Orbbec has launched the Femto Mega. Built in partnership with Microsoft, it offers real-time streaming of processed images over Ethernet or USB connections, making it suitable for logistics, robotics, manufacturing, retail, healthcare and fitness solutions. The depth camera uses
Microsoft’s ToF technology for scene understanding over a 120° field of view (FOV) and a broad range from 0.25 m to 5.5 m. The 1-MPixel depth camera is complemented by a 4K resolution RGB camera with 90° FOV. A built-in NVIDIA Jetson Nano is used to run advanced depth vision algorithms to convert raw data to precise depth images, eliminating the need for an external PC or compute device. The camera can be directly connected to servers or the cloud using the Power over Ethernet (PoE) connection for both data and power. The device also has USB-C 3.2 and DC power supply connectors.
